I’d like to visit the store in person, is there anything I should know?
Please click on the Visit Us tab at the top of the page for directions and relevant information. Hours are always kept up to date on this page and any specials events or opening/closing hours will be announced here as well as on social media. Or you can also find us at a limited number of shows throughout the year, listed on our events page.
The colour of my gear products is not the same as the picture?
The main material of the gear is all different shades and stages of wear. for example: beige can have about 8 different shades (Greige, tan, yellow beige, khaki beige etc.) Colour really depends on the supply we have on hand.
Product is sold out, how long till it will be back in stock?
We do our best to keep all products and variations in stock. Sometimes, we don’t have certain colour gear or striping available. Please remember we are a small production team. Get in touch if there is something specific you are looking for and don’t see.
I don't see my Country listed for shipping, Can you help?
Please get in touch and we may be able to add to our shipping portfolio.
I have a custom style bag I want made, will you do it?
We have worked hard to make the style, sized bags and products. At this time we cannot take on any custom requests.
Can I get my name or badge number put on my product?
Name and Badge Number can be added onto certain Items- Letter allowance is 12 (if you have a longer name please contact for us to accommodate) We use the solid colour of Hi-Vis striping letters and are stitched on. Why only certain items? Usually the item is too small and or it is difficult. Please note only the name will be put on! (reasoning is because it looks better) Also if you put name and badge # in one box (just cause they fit) the name will only be added. Any questions please contact. |
I want to place a large order, how is it best to do this?
The best thing to do in this instance is to contact us.
Can I make something out of my own gear?
Have your own gear and want to make products out of it?
We absolutely can make products from your own gear. (Needs to expired, no longer pass safety and released from your department for your personal use)
We need the shell, the liner and suspenders if you have to make the products. ( if missing something please reach out so that we can accommodate)
We take pride in working with your gear and make our best effort to display the inner name tag on inner pocket or lining of the bags.
If the gear is sent dirty , there will be a cleaning fee added to cost.
Cost : The cost is the same as price of product on website. (we will customize for free and return ship for free) The cost of the bags is not necessarily the materials, it is in the labour of making the bag.
Have Patches or Name plate you want on bag? we will stitch on at no extra fee.
Below are a few examples of how things get broken down:
Pair of pants- Duffle - uses all of the pant to make. (Can make other big bags too but they will not have a radio pocket on them)
Jacket- All other big Bags- Laptop, Recruiter, Backpack etc. (Sometimes depending on size of coat we can get 1 accessory piece with it also)
Most of all our accessories can also be made out of either the coat or pants. If you are trying to maximize what you can out of the gear give us a call and we can chat.

Let us save that old gear, fire hose and continue creating! We are always needing more supplies. We will travel the distance and we love hearing all the history.

When can I expect my order?
It will processed within 1-5 business days and you will get a tracking number when it has shipped.
Shipping, Refunds and Exchanges
SHIPPING & RETURNS
Where does your order ship from?
Your order is shipping from the store located in Wainfleet, Ontario Canada. We aim to have all packages out our door within 1-5 business days. (if the product is available on the website, it is IN Stock )
How long will it take to receive my order?
Your order will be shipped using Canada Post, (in the event of postal strikes we will be using a shipping courier (UPS, Canpar etc) however, depending on your distance from us or if border crossing is involved orders will take between 3 and 10 business days to arrive. (Saturday and Sunday are not business days for mail in Canada)
How is shipping calculated?
We use calculated shipping through Canada Post.
What is included in shipping?
Your shipping fee includes the packaging and shipping to your door. Please note if you are not located in Canada, there may be customs, duties and brokerage fees applied to your order via your country’s customs border services that are the responsibility of the buyer and have no relationship to Past Into New.
Can I order online and pickup in store?
Yes of course. Sometimes you see an item you just must have but can't make it into the shop for a few days. Please choose Store Pickup at checkout.
Please allow up to 48 hours for us to pull your order or indicate the date you wish to pickup and we will do our best to accommodate. You will receive a pickup notification when your order is ready.
RETURNS
We know shopping online sometimes can be difficult and hope you love your purchase. We have limits on what can be returned and how. Please read and ask questions prior to your purchase to avoid disappointments.
Can I return my item?
Short version: Yes, within Canada ONLY and not customized.
Sale or One off Items are final sale.
No returns on International Orders.
Longer version: Please pay attention to descriptions to avoid any disappointment with regards to size or condition.
Colours and scarring of gear/hose may be different from what is pictured.
We are happy to accept the returns in the exact condition in which it was received. Please contact us within 10 days to receive return address information. The buyer remains responsible for the costs to return any item. Please package the item in the manner it was sent to you. Damages in transit of return items are the customers responsibility and result in loss of credit.
DO NOT MAIL RETURN ANY PACKAGES TO PAST INTO NEW STORE WITHOUT INSTRUCTION.
How will my return be processed?
Your return will be processed in the form of a gift card [store credit].
This credit never expires and will be available to use at your discretion. The store credit will be the cost of the item minus any shipping costs.
